I’m Christina Hong, the founder of Seoulmates and BAP&BiRD, and I’ve spent over a year obsessed with two things: perfecting the crispiness and flavor of Korean fried chicken, and creating omubap — our signature fusion of kimbap and omusubi. It is Korean comfort food, reimagined.
What started as a side project quickly became a full-blown obsession. I went down the rabbit hole by testing, tweaking, second guessing, and two years later, here we are.
BAP&BiRD is the result.
Crispy Korean fried chicken. Hand rolled kimbap, made fresh every day. Savory, portable omubap, a one of a kind blend of Japanese rice balls and Korean sushi rolls.
